  4.LTE UE Standalone Physical Layer Functional Testing

Description

The key objective of this activity is to validate LTE UE physical layer with third-party equipment in Samsung LAB Korea. In the initial stage (before integration of the higher layers) and after integration with higher layers, it is expected to validate the full functionality of the Physical layer. Testing activity is in 3 phases, on FPGA board, ASIC board and Dongles (Data cards). Interoperable testing is carried out with all equipment vendors in all the phases of testing.
